Nov 2011 - Launch of our new publication - "The Villages Book" which explores the villages in the High Wolds Heritage Group.    £8.95

Each village has a chapter of photographs and there are other chapters about farming, trades and transport, schools, churches and chapels of all the villages.

Everyone is welcome!

Friday 25th November - 7.30pm in St. Mary’s Church, Huggate 

You are invited to the launch of another new publication - "Huggate School and Village: 1870 - 1900" written by Trevor Smith.  £6

To launch this book children of Huggate will present a short play about the life of people who lived in the village during the late Victorian Age, using the words and images of the day.  Come and find out what it was like to live, work and study in the village at that time.  Everyone is welcome.

There will be refreshments and entry is FREE.  Wrap up warm - the church may be cold!
